At 16:44 hours Rescue Squad 1 (5 personnel) responded to the 23100 block of Newtowne Neck Rd. Rescue Squad 1 arrived on the scene finding a driver still trapped in a vehicle. Rescue Squad 1 advised communications that they had one trapped however did not need an additional Rescue Squad. Engine 11 (4 personnel) arrived on the scene assisting Rescue Squad 1s crew. Crews removed the driver’s door freeing the patient, while EMS took over patient care. One patient was transported to SMH. Rescue Squad 1s officer held the command.
